Portland Greek Blend is inspired by travels to Greece with a strong influence from the island of Crete. The Greek way of cooking is simple yet refined, drawing on the wonderfully fragrant herbs and spices grown in the region to bring out the incredible flavors of the ingredients. This herbaceous, well balanced, and versatile blend represents how we tasted food in Greece and is intended to recreate the experience of dining seaside in Greece.

At the heart of our Greek Blend is an amazing Cyprus Lemon Salt that provides a hint of citrus and an incredible pyramid flake that is crunchy yet delicate. Herbs used in Cretan cooking including Oregano, Thyme and Marjoram form the base of our blend. Dill, Basil and Onion which are also found throughout Greece, are added to create a delicious flavor profile that balances savory, earthy, spicy and citrus notes with just the right amount of salt.
